I try to prepare myself - face it head on.

But occasionally, I let my guard down, relax, even try to squeeze in a nap.

And BAM! Monday sneaks up on me!

Coming out of nowhere,

grabbing me by the throat,

holding me down.

Sometimes I think I have broken its hold,

but if I'm not careful, it comes back,

And bites me in the butt.
