abby and company

It's prom season. This week will be an extremely busy week around here - I will be transforming a cavernous PE building into a disco, complete with mirror ball and VIP lounge for the prom at my school. And yesterday afternoon, I made a trip to Star City to snap a few hundred pictures of Abby, her date, and her friends before their prom.


I got there just in time for finishing touches to hair and makeup. Jen dug out an old pin that had belonged to her grandmother - it was perfect for finishing the 'do.

Her date arrived just as she was getting dressed - perfect timing. Of course we did the flower pictures.

After a few pictures at the house, we met the best friend and her date for pictures. The antique cars made great props.

Abby and Julie have been best friends forever.

After many pictures with the cars, we went just across the road to take more pictures with all of the friends.

Such beautiful girls! We did get some of the girls with their dates.

Can you imagine how many cameras were clicking? But these kids were such good sports. No one complained.

Even when I had promised that the walk away then turn and wave would be the last, and then we took some more.

The guys waited patiently while we took these last few of the girls. And then they posed for a few of their own.
